Unable to remove non-existent users (that used to be friends) from EA App

I am unable to remove non-existent users (that used to be friends) from my EA account. It just looks messy. When I click onto the user > three dots > I only have the option to block user > then it gives me the option to block myself (because the old user isn't existent anymore).
