unable to update

Hey,

I was just trying to update the Sims 4 game on the EA app, the size of the update was 980MB, however then when it was updating it suddenly told me that it would take the app 456641 hours to update, and the update did not continue. I tried to pause the download, that didn't help. Then I tried to cancel the download but that also isn't doing anything. I tried to follow the EA website instructions to clear my cache but the instructions said that I should press the 3 dots in the upper left corner of the EA app, but that doesn't exists.

Could you please help me resolve this issue. I just wanted to play the Sims.
