Summarize your bug "EA Desktop requires an authorized account" error appearing on launch despite having signed in with no issue for the past 3 weeks.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unknown.
What happens when the bug occurs? EA Desktop is unusable.
What do you expect to see? No error message.
So I signed up for the beta several weeks ago and got an email prompting a download for EA Desktop. The application had worked for several weeks until today (Oct. 21). Now, on opening the application, the attached error message comes up and prevents using

Hey everyone,
We've received your reports, and those of others that their accounts don't seem authorized anymore. We're checking out what's happening.
In the meantime, don't forget about Origin if you want to keep playing!

- 5 years ago@Straatford87 I also have this issue but only on my second PC, everything works fine on my main PC. I have also found a "fix" for this - pressing alt+f4 closes the dialog box and lets you use the program as usual

I have the same exact Issue since today... Thank God I didn't uninstall Origin. I have my Hot Pursuit ready for deployment for November!
