@Cookie19061991 Yes, you can uninstall it using the standard Windows approach. However, I'd suggest removing Sims 4, and the EA App while you're at it, with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine). It's more thorough than the other types of installs, which makes it more reliable in solving these issues.
Before proceeding, go into Documents > Electronic Arts and rename the Sims 4 folder to something that doesn't include "Sims 4." so Revo doesn't flag it for deletion. And make sure the EA App is closed and the EABackgroundService is NOT running in the background.
