Unknown Error EC:203 in EA app

Which client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? Launch Game
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Yesterday
Summarize your bug Games won't launch. I get stuck on a loading loop than it ends with Code 203 or it says my game is already running. What I Tried Restart app, Clear cache, Reinstalled EA App, Cleared regestrey, and reinstalled games.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have no idea
What happens when the bug occurs? games won't start
What do you expect to see? I just want it fixed

    Accepting as solution for visibility purposes.

    Hi everyone,

    The EA app dev teams have deployed a change to the EA app that should lower the occurrence of the Unknown Error EC:203 message. This change is implemented in EA app version 12.164 (or newer).

    If you're still experiencing this issue, could you please check if your EA app is up to date?

    @Shawnkey I wish they would let us play EA games without the EA game, it sucks, either let us run with steam or no app at all, smh

    eu tambem tenho o mesmo problema , voce resolveu? so aparece esse erro pra mim qnd eu deixo o EA offline, qnd ta online ele so tenta iniciar e nao consegue

    I had the same problem when I wanted to play fifa.
    It worked for me after I disconnected the controller from the PC and then started the game.
    I hope I could help.

    yeah i have the same thing , i randomly got the EA app installed on my pc then my ea games wont launch, id open battlefront 2 and it says the game is running but id be in a repeated cycle of ea desktop app tabs. i just want to able to play my games and idk what to do

    @Shawnkey same for me but with bfv
    i found a way to solve this problem
    first you need to exit your EA app,and restart your computer
    and then start the steam
    just start it,don't open the game by steam
    and open the EA app and login
    start the game in EA
    (btw I really don't want to start the game from EA,it's屎

    I had this issue loading Sims 4 today as well, this has never happened before the switch in the EA application recently. It doesn't matter whether I try to play directly from steam or the EA app, it shows the load error every time.
