Hello,
My EA App Friends List suddenly disappeared after my laptop went into sleep mode.
Before the laptop went into sleep mode, my friends were visible normally. After waking it up, the Friends section showed 0 friends and only gray loading boxes.
I have already tried:
- Closing and reopening the EA App multiple times
- Logging out and logging back in
- Clearing the EA App cache using App Recovery
- Restarting my laptop
The problem is still there.
I also checked my Battlefield 4 Battlelog account. My account is still AhmedGamal2610, and the Battlelog activity still shows previous friendships. For example, it shows:
"wizard612power and AhmedGamal2610 are now friends"
However, the Friends List itself shows 0 friends.
This makes me think that my EA friends data still exists but the EA App is not loading or syncing the Friends List correctly.
Could someone please help me restore/sync my EA Friends List?
Thank you.
Hey AhmedGamal2610
Thanks for the detailed report and screenshots, and also for listing what you’ve already tried.
Could you please try the following?
- In the EA app, search for one of the friends you know was previously on your list, for example, the aforementioned wizard612power, and check whether their profile still shows you as friends or gives you the option to add them again.
- If possible, temporarily connect the laptop through a different network, such as a mobile hotspot, and check the Friends List again. There have previously been reports of the Friends panel failing to load due to a network/ISP-specific connection issue with the social services.
