When I set the App offline, stop it trying to go online
For pity's sake.
Here's the thing. When I have deliberately chosen "go offline" (which is, for anyone reading, the way to make sure the broken achievements in Legendary ME2/3 on the Steam still work) the app itself then tells me "The app couldn't connect to the servers. We'll keep trying to connect you". and, then it does keep trying to connect you--except it can't, of course, because I've freaking asked it NOT TO.
This means that during games you get the occasional stutter where the app tries again, and again. You know, performance issues caused by Not The Game but the Stupid DRM system EA forces on honest players. Eventually, the app actually stops working and basically goes "A stubborn problem has caused you to be logged out of the [EA app] Restart it etc.
Er, no. That stubborn "problem" was the end user not wanting the app to be online, and that doesn't change. Thing is, when the app does this, it minimises the game. Sometimes, it crashes the game. Now, in this instance, that's fine, I'm actually using the internet and can just log in again. But what if I were actually offline? Because of no internet? In that case, I would not be able to restart the app, or relog in (I tested this). And would not be able to play the game until I could get internet back.
Would you guys program your stupid app to stop this nonsense?
