Where's the Update option?!

I went to play Sims 4, and when the game opened up, it told me that I had to update before June 10th, because after that, older versions of the game would be incompatible. So I go to update the game, and lo and behold . . . . THERE'S NO UPDATE OPTION! See my screenshot for what I get when I click on the three dots in the corner of my game thumbnail. How in the heck do you expect me to update my game when I don't have an update option? I already repaired the game, and I still don't have an option to update. What am I supposed to do here?!

Also included is the screenshot of the pop up that told me I need to update before June 10.

  • I also received the update notification but cannot update either in-game or the EA app. I am a little confused and concerned??

  • @DreamDancer82 and @JeeperScoob  The message is generic and doesn't mean you're behind on updates.  If you've installed patch 1.107, you're fine.  @JeeperScoob  Check the lower-right corner of the Main Menu for your version number.  @DreamDancer82  I can see from your second screenshot that you're already up to date.

OK, thanks. I'm a "Mountain Out of a Molehill" type of person if you know what I mean.

@puzzlezaddict I'm on mac and I'm having the same issue. I think I am behind though because the internet says I'm supposed to be updated to version 1.107.151.1230 and mine is ending in 1220. What do we do if it doesn't let us play after the 10th??

@TrebleTerror  The ending of the version number has nothing to do with whether you're updated or not.  The Windows version always ends in .1020 or .1030, depending on the patch level; the Mac version is always .1220 or .1230.  You can ignore this part.  The major version number is the 107 here, associated with the once-a-month large patches like the one from May 28; the minor version is the next number, for emergency patches like the one from June 6.

Also, the information about Sims players needing to update by June 10 only applies to Windows users, so you can ignore it completely.
