Hi,
So EA has forced me to download the EA app and won't let me use Origin anymore. So I downloaded the app, and all of my Sims games are on a removable hard drive which worked fine the other day. I recently bought two new packs, Horse Ranch and Grunge Revival kit but neither can be downloaded. They start downloading but stop at 4% with the message "A Something went wrong. Try again later.". The game also needs an update but that has the same issue. I've tried uninstalling and downloading to the local drive but I get the same error message.
The game won't let me play until it's been updated.
Super frustrating and I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss Origin!

Ok so I kind of solved my own problem a bit but it's definitely an issue with the naming conventions in the EA App. So I got rid of everything including the apps and sims games and installed again on my local drive where it was directing to Applications/EAGames (folder) and is downloading fine now, haven't tested moving it back to the drive yet but I assume the problem was even though I directed the EA App to the drive when installing, it didn't like that.
So EA if you're seeing this, please fix the pointing system for removable volumes, thanks!
