Xbox Game Pass - EA Play games not downloading

Summarize your bug I am attempting to use EA Desktop in combination with Xbox Game Pass to download games. When I hit the button to download a game from EA Desktop, it briefly loads and then nothing happens
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happens.
What do you expect to see? I expect games to download.

I have attempted to download Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Titanfall 2, and I have had this problem both times.

@Emeritus20GX I fixed the problem. The only thing I needed for this was the VPN and the change of the region to the USA / Canada, after that the installation of the game will start, also, after the start of the installation, the VPN can be turned off to improve the download speed of the game. Thanks for helping the Titanfall forum.

@Emeritus20GX I fixed the problem. @holgrat Thanks! I tried it out and it worked! Shame that the system doesn't work properly without this trick though.

You can try to deinstall the EA-Desktop Client and after that install it again... Sometimes that helps.
If you try to download an EA game through the Xbox Application try to download the same game through the EA-Desktop Client and vice versa.
I hope that this is working for you.

I am currently having the same issues trying to download anything from the "new " EA app. I have Xbox game pass ultimate and wanted to try Grid legends on my PC. Sometimes, I open the app and it shows the download button, but when I press it shows calculating time and never starts the download. Other times, every game I own in my collection or any game from the store shows a loading icon with no way to download anything. After sending 3 case tickets in I have been re-directed by EA to this page. How is this an acceptable answer. That we have to jump through hoops to get a game working correctly. Shouldn't the brand new "EA app" take care of this and work like Steam. How is this company still in business? Better yet, how come people arent furious that we have to figure why their crap doesn't work?

trying to download F1 22 on the xbox game pass but just get a "something went wrong" promt. tried other EA games an the same happens, i pay for the game pass and have an EA account so really dont understand what the problem is
