"You don't have access" error

So I am having a very strange problem. I bought 3 packs, Toddler stuff, Kids room stuff, and parenthood. I was able to download them fine. Then one day they randomly were not downloaded. I went to the EA app and queued them up to download but it said there was an "Unexpected issue" and to try again later. So I did and the same thing happened again and again and again. Flash forward a few months, now when I try to download them it says I don't have access since I "don't own the game' and i have the go to the game hub to get the game. I am still able to play the game and all my other packs work just fine, even ones I bought after those 3. I don't know what to do and I really just want my packs back.

    It sounds like this pack may have been removed from your account- this isn't something we can check for over the forums since we don't have access to your account details, but the live support team can take a look and see what's happening with your packs.

  • I have been trying to download the update that came out today and am having a lot of issues. Every time I click download it loads for a while and then sends me the message, "You don't have access. We've canceled the download because you don't own this game. To play, go to the Game Hub to get the game."

    I have tried restarting the app and my computer, redownloading the EA app, clearing the cache on the app, and repairing the game. However, when I click repair it sends me a message saying I can't do that because the game is managed by steam. 

    Has anyone else been having this issue / have some advice for how to fix it?

  • I'm encountering an access issue with a game in the EA app. When attempting to download the latest update, the app displayed the following error message:
    "We've canceled the download because you don't own this game. To play, go to the Game Hub to get the game." To troubleshoot, I’ve tried the following steps:

    • Logged out and back into the EA app, uninstalled and installed the EA app
    • Cleared the app cache
    • Restarted both the app and my computer
    • Attempted to use the “Repair” function, which unexpectedly redirected me to Steam (even though this game is not managed through Steam)
    • Uninstalled the game, assuming I could reinstall it — but now I can’t install it at all, as the same “You don’t own this game” message appears
    • Tried to install the game in a new Electronic Arts folder, which also didn't work.

    I’m certain I own the game, and this issue began only when trying to download the recent update. The EA app seems to have lost track of my ownership/license.

  • Hi, 

    Just redeemed a code for TS3 on another account I got the error and the game disappeared.. I cleared cache, it never appeared again. I tried signing in on another account and the game migrated over there for some reason. Now i got the same problem on this account. I can't install because i keep getting the 'you don't have access to this game' bug. I cleared cache, restarted/uninstalled/repaired/clear cache again. Nothing works.

    If it makes you feel any better, I am having the exact same issue as well. Nothing has worked on my end. I reached out to EA but have not heard back yet. 

  • hello i have activated a game code all was fine but when i started downloading its got canceled i had message that i ''dont own the game and i should go to game hub'' and its missing from the library so im wondering is it app issue or the code provider? code was bought in cdkeys

    I have Into the future installed on the ea app, but the game can't find it, 

    Is there an easy solution for that? I really don't want to reinstall all of the packs again.
