EA App freezes my laptop after latest update

After the latest The Sims 4 update I started experiencing serious issues with the EA App and the game. Before this update, everything worked normally. After updating, the EA App causes my laptop to freeze completely, I cannot click anything, even simple actions stop responding, the only way to make my laptop usable again is to force close the EA App through Task Manager. As soon as I close the EA App, my laptop works normally again, because of this issue, the EA App completely froze my laptop several times, I also noticed bugs in the game itself, for example roofs are not working correctly in Build Mode, the problems started immediately after the latest update. I use mods from CurseForge. I understand that some mods may need updates, but the freezing starts with the EA App itself, even before I can properly play the game. This issue did not exist before the latest update. Please investigate this issue, as it makes the EA App and The Sims 4 very difficult to use. 😡😡
