This forum is really starting to annoy me...
Tried to make a post in the "What happened in your Sims 3 game today" thread and the post isn't posted...
Try to post it again, and I get told that I've exceeded some limit when I haven't even posted.
This is nonsense.
The only positive thing I have to say is that my post seems to be auto-saved, but as long as I can't actually make posts, this forum is useless...
If I'm going to repeatedly run into this error when trying to make lengthy posts I may just as well leave...
SprottenhamI've gotten that same message when posting. Many times. You are not alone, and it is indeed frustrating! 😬 (And I've found it happens randomly while posting even IF you haven't posted on anything else previously).
I complained about this very same issue on this thread and was assured by EA_Nils that they are aware of it and are working on getting it fixed. 👍🏻 I think it's one of their top priorities at the moment. There's been a lot of complaints about things on this new forum that they didn't realize they would get so many complaints on, so they are working extra hard to fix the most annoying problems.
It will all get worked out soon, my friend. Stay with us ok? 🤗 I love having y'all around and I don't want the growing pains of a new thread to keep y'all away....no matter how annoying it is. I mean, if it never gets fixed that's one thing, but I know they are indeed working on the big issues such as this one so I feel it will soon be a thing of the past. 🤞🏻🙏🏻
emorrillAh, ok, I see. Yeah, I wouldn't expect I was alone in this, I have seen complaints about this before. I suppose it's good that its a top priority to fix, and there's probably a lot of things about running a forum I don't understand... this being one of them...
Thanks for saying you want me to stay. ;) Now I don't really want to say that I'm going to leave or shout to loudly about such a thing, but the point still stands.. if it repeatedly gets to frustrating to make posts or a certain type of posts (posts with images and text.. it's a mystery to me what triggers the message..), I will eventually lose the motivation for it and worst case scenario is that it will look like I have 'left', when it's just I'm no longer making the posts I want to make...
I will do my best not to leave, and shouting about things that bug me is of course done in the hopes that it will get noticed and fixed so that it won't be the end result that I actually do that...
