Possibility to edit my "optional" Profile Info is gone
As it says here in: Your EA Forums Profile, Avatar & Settings
"optionally fill out some details about yourself."
As I added some Info "about me" to my EA Forum Profile in the past, I can now not see these settings anymore in my settings nor the line I added to edit it. These "optional" settings are gone and do not show in my account settings anymore. So I can no longer edit my "optional" (about me) info. Has these settings been removed or is it a Forum bug?
The settings to edit these has been removed. We can also confirmed that the content anyone previously had added has been removed from the forum database.
The main reason here is that it wasn't well integrated with the forum moderation tools, making them suspectable to bad actors (like spammers).
We are thinking about how we can offer more personalization options again in the future, but it will have to be in a safe way.
