Absolutely no customer support is crazy

Yeah, that article on recovery just says "Get in touch with us" which is frankly impossible.

And respectfully, maybe that's the process that's supposed to be followed regarding marking tickets as resolved, but I can show you a screenshot of my inbox, it's been radio silence.

Or you don't have to take my word for it, a simple google reveals that communication from EA support is difficult at best. One guy suggested emailing the privacy and data ownership (or something like that) department just to exploit consumer protection laws and get in touch with somebody.

I'm sure as a community manager, you've got to stay positive about EA, but the sad truth is EA's customer service is notoriously bad if you search around online.

Thanks again for the response, and I mean no disrespect, but the situation is frustrating to say the least.

Now for an update on my specific issue, for what it's worth anyway, when I saw that some underpaid support staff decided to mark my ticket as resolved without so much as reaching out, I figured it was worth it to pay my old ISP for another month of service to maintain my old email address. So I can now access that email inbox. However now the issue is that I'm not actually getting the verification codes supposedly being sent to that address when I try to login. This is another prominent issue people have historically had with EA accounts unfortunately. That's a separate issue though that I've created a new ticket for, after waiting 3 hours this time for the live chat feature which was estimated to take "22 minutes".
