account details change (help!!)

I've changed my account email from my dad's email to my own, the password now mine, etc as I have my  sims game + packs on the account. His Xbox account is still linked to the account, but it says stuff about losing progress etc?? i'mlost + stuck

    Its a generic thing just in case you dont have access to the accounts you are unlinking. 

    If you are playing on xbox then all the progress/purchases would be linked to that account.

    It is not possible to transfer it to another xbox account
