Account linking debacle!?
Hi EA Support,
My Xbox gamertag Bigribeyeguy is stuck in a lifetime link loop. When I try to sign in or link my EA account, I get this message:
“Your accounts can’t be linked because the EA Account for [masked email] was previously linked to the Xbox account for BIGRIBEYEGUY414. An EA Account can only be linked to one Xbox account in its lifetime.”
I have already tried:
- Unlinking and relinking my Xbox and EA accounts
- Clearing cache on console
- Re-adding my Xbox account on the console
- Confirming the correct EA account is linked on EA’s website
I’ve opened multiple cases through live chat, but the chat feature is broken — I get an email that an agent has messaged me, but no messages appear in the chat window. Each time, the case is closed before I can reply.

I need this escalated to a Tier 2 account specialist to reset or repair the Xbox–EA link so I can continue playing EA games on my existing gamertag.
Please advise how to proceed given chat is not working and the case keeps getting closed before I can respond.
