All I’m trying to do is unlink my Xbox account from an old account I have zero access to and I have to wait 440 minutes to “chat with an agent I wait and and then to receive an email that my chat has ended because I never responded wtf this needs to be fixed if I can’t use my ea account with my Xbox what’s the purpose of even buying games from this company
Good luck dude, they refuse to unlink accounts. They prioritize hacker accounts over customer accounts. File a Better Business Bureau complaint.
I've been fighting this same thing for a few days now as well. The 400+ minute wait times are ridiculous and that seems to be the only way to get in contact with anyone. I had a 311 minute wait time yesterday afternoon that apparently ended up taking just over 1 hour, but I was away when they joined the chat since it was a 5 hour wait. I started another one after that that gave me a 454 minute wait and I saw that one connected at 3:45am while I was still asleep. I tried submitting another ticker where I didn't select the chat agent option and I'm curious to see how that goes. It says up to as 10 day waiting period, but that is better than trying to catch a chat bot with unrealistic wait times who closes your ticket as "resolved" if you miss their 4 minute window. Super frustrating.

File a Better Business Bureau complaint like stated above. I sent one in this morning as I have trying for over 3 years to get a hacked account back with EA just closing out tickets with no explanation or communication. If we all send them in something will get done

Well they didn’t link my account the gave me access to my old account and now my phone number can’t link to this account because it’s attached to the deactivated account guess by the time this is over I would have spent over 1600 minutes in a Que

Im in the same situation but on Playstation. Sony Refunded my BF6 purchase and actually apologized to me for EA's incompetence. EA doesnt care, aslong as they turn a profit they dont care who got screwed.
