Battlefield 3 account linked to unknown email. Need help recovering it
I am trying to recover my old Battlefield 3 account.
The soldier name is Yerkil. The account was created in December 2012 when I installed the physical copy of BF3.
I played around 829 hours. My last match was about 5 years ago but the last login recorded on the profile was around 1 year ago. When I try to sign in using the ID Yerkil, the EA App tries to send the verification code to an email that is not mine.
It looks something like @braxtoncat.com. I have never used that domain, never created an email there and I never changed the email address of my EA account. My real email is completely different.
The strange part is that the account still exists. The Battlelog profile for Yerkil is still online with all my stats. The EA App recognizes the ID but the verification goes to the unknown email.
If I try to sign in with my real email, EA says no account is linked to it.
It looks like at some moment between 2012 and now my account was migrated or modified and the email was changed without my consent.
I just want to recover access to my original account and update the email to my real one. If needed I can provide more details to prove that the account is mine.
