If you'd like to unlink a platform account from an EA account, you can do so by following the steps on this page. However, please note that unlinking an account does come with risks, including content and progress loss that may be unrecoverable. 

In the meantime, it might be worth going through some of our connection troubleshooting steps to address the error message, especially by changing your DNS, if you haven't already.
