Can't unlink PSN Account

So I just went into this today as I tried to link my EA account to the current PSN account I'm using to play It Takes Two on my PS5;  I get an error saying it's already linked to another account.

But when I log into my EA account I can't see any linked PSN account. From the error screen in the game, it says the acount it's still linked to an old account I recognize, as it's one I used long ago for my daughter, but I can't see any way to unlink it.

What's the procedure to get over this?

    Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems unlinking your PSN account. 

    You can find instructions on how to unlink accounts here: https://help.ea.com/en/articles/ea-account/unlink-ea-account/ 

    Please note that you can only unlink the account if you're able to log in to the EA account first. You can try signing in to the EA website using your PSN credentials by clicking the PSN logo in the top-right corner of the login page:

    Once you're logged in, you should be able to unlink the accounts. 

    If you still need assistance with unlinking them, please reach out to EA Help for further assistance. To reach them, scroll to the bottom of the article shared above and click on "Contact us."

    That's what I did. Logged into my account (the one that I'm told is already linked to an existing PSN account), but when I get to the connected account section, it says nothing is linked to PSN. And yet... somehow I can't link it to my current PSN account.

    I recognize the linked account shown in the error screen in "It Takes Two" when I try to link, but when I log into my EA account, it doesn't show up. As I mentioned before, it's a very old account I used back in the day for my daughter (several years ago). But again, in the "Connection Accounts" section of my EA account, PSN shows as not connected.

    I’m sorry to hear that.  At this point, you’ll need to contact EA Help for further assistance. They’ll be able to review the account from their side, check what may be causing the issue, and advise you on the next steps.
