Disabled account, Poor Customer Service, Very frustrated

I just bought Battlefield 6 for my son on his PS5 and as soon as the game was downloaded he tries to play it and immediately gets a notification screen (attached) saying that his account has been disabled due to a violation of EAs user agreement. I click the link to check his penalty history and it shows that he has no penalty history at all. I tried to contact customer service but the closest I could get was to submit an appeal that apparently could take up to 10 days for me to get a response. What the hell is going on here? I just spent $70 bucks on a video game that my son can’t even play because EA banned his account for no apparent reason at all and now I gotta wait and submit a claim to appeal something that he never did?!? This is ridiculous. And the fact that they don’t even provide a phone number so we can call someone for help is a down right shame. If anyone has any advice please let me know. I’ve tried resetting his password. That didn’t work. He’s upset. I’m upset. This is all bad.

The error points to a ban or restriction on the account 93b89entyxh4 and all you can do in these situations is to appeal the ban using the link I shared below.

Could this be due to age restrictions?

Battlefield 6 has an official M for Mature (17+) rating in the US (ESRB) and PEGI 16 in Europe, due to intense violence, blood, strong language, and mature themes, requiring players to be 17+ or 16+ respectively, though EA requires users to be 13+ for online features, with strict age verification for accounts.

    Official Age Ratings

    • ESRB (North America): M (Mature 17+) for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language, Users Interact, In-Game Purchases.
    • PEGI (Europe): 16+ for Realistic Combat, Strong Language, Tobacco/Alcohol/Drugs.
    • Australia: MA15+.

    Account Requirements

    • You generally need to be 13+ to register for online features on EA/Steam, but the game's content restriction means EA enforces the 17+ (or regional equivalent) for playing.
    • Parents cannot easily bypass these ratings for underage accounts, as EA has strict verification processes.
  • I just bought it on Xbox X, have the same exact message and no penalty history.  Absolutely ridiculous.  Now I sit and wait for an email that may take days.  Absolutely STUPID there is no number to call or chat option to talk to someone to get it resolved since it's an error on EA's part and not mine.  Terrible customer service.
