After making posts all over social media, reddit, running a twitch stream focused on the subject, the account was reinstated with no replies to the questions in support. Not even a msg saying it was "overturned" the last update is that I'm still waiting for a response. Even though the problem seems resolved, I do not find this adequate, and will be boycotting EA and continuing my campaign for a more fair customer service industry. The path we are headed to is one where AI makes ignorant decisions for ignorant companies that are focused on ripping people off as much as possible instead of providing a decent service. This is absolute proof that AI doesn't need to actually gain artificial intelligence to make decisions that affect people, this might just be a game, but what about when it is my driver's license, or my bank account (this happened to) My bank decided my OIL CHANGE was a FRAUD purchase because I did it on a CAR TRIP 2000 miles away from my house. Leaving me stranded at this business telling me I should go somewhere else instead, as if they can just remove the oil they put into my car. Ended up being a 4 hour ordeal on a vacation that turned into one problem after another. I ended up only being able to use my card at fast food places for over a month, and it wouldn't work anywhere else. ONLY MCDONALDS... everything else came back as "unathorized purchase" and people in bangladesh couldn't help me because it was ai and they had no ability to correct it. it ruined my vacation. Made me feel like my entire years worth of preparing for it was for nothing. An entire year of slaving away for these people only to have my one week vacation stolen from me.
