EA account compromised 1 month ago, no response from support - need help

Hi,

 

My EA account was hacked and the email associated with it was changed without my authorization. I have purchases made on this account and I know my exact EA ID.

 

I opened a case with support about 1 month ago through help.ea.com, but I still haven't received any response.

 

Details:

- EA ID: dxteipx

- My Steam account is still linked to this EA account, and I still have full access to it

- I have purchase history I can provide as proof

- I can't log in because verification codes are being sent to the attacker's email, not mine

 

I've already tried following the recommended security steps, but I still can't recover access on my own. Can someone from the team (Community Manager) help escalate my case? Or has anyone who went through this been able to share what worked?

    Hey dxxteipx​,

    We aren't able to escalate cases through the forums, but have you tried starting a chat on this fresh account? I'm not seeing a case created so far on either account.

    I'd try creating a case here to get in touch with support directly so they can help try to verify and recover your original account from there. You should be able to use the Compromised EA Account issue option to start that recovery process with support.
