Epic games account banned

Hi, I had an existing EA account, then purchased a series of games from Epic Games, which appears to have created a new account (I don't know login details for this account but signs in when I launch one of these games from Epic library). Today I tried to play Star Wars Battlefront II, which opened EA launcher, and I found out that this new account had been banned for "Account Takeover", which is false. Thank you

    Apologies, extra information I forgot to add: I attempted to appeal the ban which resulted in, "Case not created. We ran into an issue creating your case, but we're working on it. Wait a few hours and try again."
