I waited nearly 6 hours for live chat for the agent to be AFK/inactive

As the title states I waited nearly 6 hours in queue to get some assistance with linked accounts and have another account deactivated. Once I got connected to the agent I got the starting premade ...

I’ve done as much self help as possible and my only option is to contact support - there’s no way to email them with my issue? 

its just such a pain that I waited so long to get an inactive agent.

Depending on the topic you select, email may appear as a contact option. However, if chat response times are longer than usual, email replies may also be delayed, especially during peak periods like beta releases.
