Link EA to a new steam
Is it possible to unlink my ea account from an old steam account and link it to a new steam account? I want my apex account

I just want to jump in and say that if your Apex account is your new Steam account, then you shouldn't unlink it from its current EA account and link it to a different one. All of your progress is stored on the EA account level, so if you move any linked accounts then the progress won't be carried over.

You can switch your linked accounts up to 3 times in a rolling year, but choosing the right account from the start is still the safest way to keep your account secure. Always link to an account you'll keep long-term to preserve your progress and purchases.
