My account was hacked and linked so some random email.

I have recently got back into gaming and I’ve tried to play the new Battlefield today but I can’t because when I try to start it asked for me to verify my linked account and it’s not my email so I’m not getting any codes. Reading in the support stuff it says that I can never unlink an account so does this mean that every single EA game I will never be able to play again 😂

  • hello again, i just received an email that i earned a new rank 🤪in EA Forums, soooo happy now ......

  • My  case number is #237910715 and i was hacked in januari 2026 by some random email

Too bad , unfortunately it does not help what info you supply to EA Games, not even the game, sims2UC, on my pc for a very long time and before that recognized by Origin ( i even have prove still of that such as emails, software map etc. ), but you do not get a thing of your hacked account back. I logged in with my own very old EA account to get back the games that were on an account and email of my son which i had made when he was a small child and i continued to play on. Also my son tried to get back our account because it was hacked by some random well known to EA games hacker email that hacked multiple accounts also in 2014. A very simular in name random emailer started to do that again december 2025 and januari 2026 and we even could give his ID, because he was a listed online wellknown hacker. I asked to have the games of our hacked account on this account, but that was not possible to move it over to one of our other years old EA accounts. Many products i bought were registered on the EA site, but were also games i owned on disck. So, i am no longer a hardcore advertiser for EA Games anymore......, because they throw you under the bus whenever they find that  convenient and is the same with spending about 10 minutes to supposedly "solve" hacked accounts.

    Hi MASTER4SS4SS1N,

Just popping by to catch up with you. Were you able to connect with our support team for help recovering the EA account?

Not necessarily. For example, if you played those EA games online in the past, then they were already linked to an EA account before this happened. That means you should own the original email the EA account was created with, and you can recover the EA account with the support team's help. 🙂Scroll to the bottom of this guide and click 'Contact us' to start a support case.

You will need to pass the account verification stage with the support team before they can help make changes to the EA account for you, but once that's done, they can update the email registered to one you'd prefer and guide you through resetting your security features to help protect the account.

Make sure to have the following information ready when reaching out to them to help speed things up.

    • The email address you used to make your EA Account.
    • Any usernames or console IDs (e.g. Xbox Live Gamertags or PlayStation™Network Online IDs) connected to your EA Account.
    • Any invoice numbers from games you’ve bought from EA's store, or product codes for your games.
