I submitted an appeal due to an unfair ban, and a few days later I received an email stating that the issue had been resolved.
After checking the email, I went to my penalty history on EA Help and confirmed that the previous “Banned” record had disappeared.
Could you please explain what “Incident Update Provided” means in my case?
Also, if there is nothing in my penalty history, why is my account still banned in the game?

I'm not fully sure what it means either, but you can reach out to the EA TOS Team again and ask them what is going on, (especially since you had mentioned that your account is still banned).
You can also try checking your email again, (like what EA Darko had suggested trying):
