My Steam account is linked to an unknown EA Account – Unable to play FC 25

Hello,

I’m having trouble linking my Steam account to my EA account. When I try to connect it via EA Desktop, it shows that my Steam account is already linked to another EA account with the email address: ap*****@yonredcomail.com which I do not recognize.

Because of this issue, I cannot play EA SPORTS FC 25, which I purchased on Steam on July 9, 2025.

I’ve submitted a support case via EA Help but haven’t received a response yet. I would appreciate any help to unlink my Steam account from the unknown EA account and connect it to my actual EA account.

I would appreciate it if someone from the EA team could look into this or escalate the case. Below I’ve attached:

    Hello qfhtmxcyazey​,

    Account related issues can only be handled by the EA support team, nobody else can assist you with the issue.

    I can tell from personal experience if you can prove that you own the account, the EA support team will assist you in the unlinking process.

    i have precisely the same problem, my steam account was connected to an EA account that was stolen, i cant provide ownership of the EA account and even if the steam account is mine and i can demonstrate that, no one will care, i think ill send a physical letter to their HQ in California maby someone will pity me and try to do the bare minimum
