No e-mail receipt for purchase

I pre ordered sims 4 enchanted by nature. The EA app shows the pack as pre ordered and I can see it as completed in my ea account. (I can give the order number if you want) But I never received the confirmation e-mail. I purchased this morning, by now it's been one or two hours ago and still no confirmation. It's the same e-mail adres as always and I checked my spam as well. Is it possible to have the confirmation of the purchase sent to me again? 

I would like to have the e-mail because afterwards it's my only proof of buying the pack in time for the early purchase items.

    puzzlezaddict​ you were right. I needed to wait longer. For some reason this time it took half a day, way longer than usual. But the confirmation arrived after all. Just rather late.

    atreya33​  It is possible that you only receive the email when EA takes your money.  Has that happened yet?  It may not have given that this is a pre-order—EA typically doesn't charge for these until about a week before release.

    I checked. Last year when I preordered life and death, the confirmation mail was sent the same day. 

    I always use gift cards or pay safe card. The money is spent at the moment of the preorder

    atreya33​  Then I would wait a couple days, long enough to make sure this isn't simply a delay but still with plenty of time to cancel and repurchase if necessary.  I don't have any way to help with account issues, and given that today is Sunday, it would take a while to get a response from a Sims CM anyway.

    For L&D, it might have been a question of how soon before the release you pre-ordered, although that is just speculation on my part.
