I have excactly the same issue with Battlefield.
i was invited to playtest BF6 on the 19.09.25 on ps5
Have two EA accounts wasnt sure which one of them had access to BF6 download on PS5.
i was able to download the game but had no server connection so i was assuming, it must have been the other account.
guess what i was wrong i lost all my progress in every BF i cant even finish the Bf2042 free pass to get the BF6 rewards.
i have contacted support they dont seem to care the employee told me to wait 6 months until the 18.03.2026 to relink my original account.
i asked him if my save files will be stored he said yes I hope so that this is the case…
i told him in that case i wont be able to play Bf6 on release he said just create another account I told him never i wont do that i will have to start from scratch again and i want to keep my stat chronology.
I have never felt the incompetency of EA so far until now to be honest i feel myself fooled as a customer I am speechless….. i just wanted to test BF6 after the second beta weekend anf give feedback now i cant even play the game for 6 months ?? Have never seen such i dont care politics at any support Department not even sure if it was AI
I will try it again another day..
