Request to lift Regional ban on syrian players following sanctions removal

As of recent international decisions, the sanctions and restrictive measures previously imposed on the Syrian Arab Republic have been officially lifted.

Accordingly, I kindly request that EA review and update its regional restrictions to allow Syrian users full access to EA services, including account creation, online gameplay, and purchases.

Currently, many Syrian players are still unable to access EA platforms or use their accounts due to the old sanction-related blocks.

Since these measures are no longer legally applicable, I respectfully ask that EA remove the regional ban and restore service availability for users in Syria.

This change would reflect EA’s commitment to fairness, inclusivity, and compliance with current international regulations.

Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
Best regards,
[vedria]

Why an EA game isn’t available in your country

EA must adhere to certain embargoes, sanctions, or laws, so our games sometimes won’t be available in certain places. We know this can be frustrating for players in those impacted locations. If embargoes, sanctions, or laws are changed to allow your location to access our library, we’ll work hard to get you access as soon as possible. We’ll keep this page updated with the locations that are impacted.

    Impacted countries and regions

All or some of EA’s library of games may be unavailable in:

    • Belarus
    • Crimea region of Ukraine
    • Cuba
    • Iran
    • North Korea
    • Russia
    • Syria

The sale of new in-game content in all or some of EA’s mobile titles may be unavailable in:

    • Belarus
    • Russia

We don't want the same response every time: that you must lift the embargo. President Donald Trump lifted the sanctions on Syria, and you haven't.

Hey vedria there is nothing more that we here can do.

When and if the embargo is lifted fully on the EA side then the list of sanctioned states will be updated on the EA site.

Till then, if a state or country is listed there then the sanctions remain.
