Saved Slots Bug!

My career mode save got overwritten, and I can’t believe this is still an issue after almost six months. I simulated a match, then quit and loaded my manually saved slot, only to find that the autosave had completely overwritten it

It’s frustrating to spend so much time and effort building a career, only for a bug to ruin it in an instant. EA clearly prioritizes Ultimate Team while Career Mode gets neglected year after year. How is this still happening in a full-priced game this far after release?
