When I go into the ea app and click play it logs out and doesn’t bring me into sims 4, it just says I’m already playing but I’m not in my game, another thing is when I put open as administrator it doesn’t always work but when it does let me into my game my sims 4 hairs start to disappear when I move the camera back
Dasies45 For the launching issue, are you getting the "Sims 4 is already running" error, or something else? Feel free to post a screenshot.
For the hairs, are these EA hairs or custom content?
hi Sorry for the late reply, And yes when I go into my game the play button is grey and it gives me a little red caution icons ,and says “your already playing”
Every cc I have in my game isn’t broken nor outdated.

Some of the workarounds there are useful in any case, but it's not exactly the same thing as what you're seeing. Still, you can try those suggestions.
Whether your cc is outdated or not, it's critical to test without it, and without your mods. You don't need to save your progress. And if the issue with the hairs is only happening to cc hairs, then the cc is the issue, whether it's outdated or just not built for the graphics settings you're using.
I don’t get that error anymore, I used to get the error but I removed the folder.

This is what I mean by it’s not putting me in the game
I have to go to task manager to close the task because it’s not opening the game.
when I do manage to get in the game I don’t get an error
Dasies45 Does this happen if you restart your computer immediately before you want to play? I mean a real restart, not sleep/wake or closing and opening the laptop lid.
If that doesn't help, try forcing the EA App to update. Go here:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop
and launch the EAUpdater.exe. Then restart your computer and try again to play.
