Trying to delete my ea account
I have the same issue and the steps in the article do NOT get me to an "advisor". Why should the owner of an account have to go through an "advisor" in order to delete their account?

Sorry to hear you were having some trouble getting this process started. To clarify, an advisor is there to verify the owner of the account and to make sure all the relevant information is removed and handled in accordance with the appropriate requirements.This is essentially preventing someone else from just logging in and deleting your entire account. They just need to make sure the request is coming from the actual account owner.
Can you try this link to open a new case directly? You should have the option to just select Delete EA Account as the issue to get this process started.
