Unable to receive verification codes for EA Account

I am writing to report a critical issue with my EA account. I am unable to log in to the web-based game store because I am not receiving the verification codes sent to my email address.

I was able to receive the verification codes as recently as yesterday morning, but I have not been able to receive them since yesterday afternoon. The core problem is that no emails from EA, including login verification codes and password reset links, are being delivered to my inbox.  This issue appears to be unrelated to my Gmail account's status, as I have confirmed my account is functioning properly.

I have already performed the following troubleshooting steps:

  • I have confirmed that my in-game account for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is successfully linked to an EA account.
  • I have checked my spam, junk, and promotions folders in my Gmail account.
  • I have tried requesting verification codes multiple times over a long period.
  • I have attempted to use the "Forgot Password" function on the EA website, but I did not receive a password reset link either.

    I want to provide an update on the web store login issue where verification codes were not being delivered. I believe I have found a workaround, and I am now able to receive the codes.

    I tried logging in on a different device—my computer using the Safari browser. To my surprise, I received the verification code immediately. After that first successful attempt on the computer, I went back to my phone (Chrome) and tried again, and it also started receiving verification codes.

    Even more surprisingly, this workaround seemed to fix the problem for my second account as well, without me ever using the computer for that account.

    This confirms that the issue was not with my device or email settings but was a systemic bug on EA's end. It seems the successful login from a different device "unclogged" the system, allowing codes to be sent again.
