I want to provide an update on the web store login issue where verification codes were not being delivered. I believe I have found a workaround, and I am now able to receive the codes.
I tried logging in on a different device—my computer using the Safari browser. To my surprise, I received the verification code immediately. After that first successful attempt on the computer, I went back to my phone (Chrome) and tried again, and it also started receiving verification codes.
Even more surprisingly, this workaround seemed to fix the problem for my second account as well, without me ever using the computer for that account.
This confirms that the issue was not with my device or email settings but was a systemic bug on EA's end. It seems the successful login from a different device "unclogged" the system, allowing codes to be sent again.
