Unlink my account from steam

So I want to unlink my EA account from Steam and use my old EA account that I used for ps4 when bf1 came out and link it to my Steam. the reason is cross progression I have friends that play on Conso...

I do not see how / why it wouldn't?  If it does not work, you still have your open request with EA Help.

Unless the other EA Account is linked to a different Steam account... lol.  I hope not for your sake!

I will just wait for the EA support and not risk anything hope they respond quick.
