unlinking account before date

I'm not sure I understand what 'set date' means. Were you seeing a timer of some sort? Could you share an image? It might help to get a visual on things.

when i went to link my sony account with my steam it did the worng one because my sony account has all my proggess on it

Ok, I think I understand. You wanted to link your PlayStation account to your Steam account, but accidentally linked it to your EA account instead? And the message is telling you you can't unlink it for another 6 months from the EA account. 

Let's revisit your initial question now that we know more about what you're experiencing:

No, there is no way to speed up the 6-month timer. It needs to timeout, so it will be 6 months before you can remove that link. However, I don't recommend doing so if you can avoid it as unlinking carries risks. The accounts aren't designed to be unlinked, and so unlinking can result in data loss, access issues, and more. You may still be able to link your PSN account to your Steam account, depending on the connection options the games offer. 🤔What game is this for? Can you load it up and go to its Settings page to see the connection options? It can sometimes help to have a visual on things; if you could pop up a screenshot of what it details (and block out your personal info), that would be great.
