Unlinking

I am a user on EA Play and have my Xbox account linked to a Gmail that isn't active anymore. I am wondering how I can contact EA so that they can respond to me with the right Gmail. From research, it looks like they are the only ones who can unlink my Xbox account from the EA account. Also, do I need to show any proof that I am the right user as well, or will they know?
