Why can't I have lesbian in my username?
It's 2026 and EA is still promoting homophobia by restricting LGBT usernames? No other major gaming company does this, even NetEase.

Community ManagerHey Giiiiiiinger username restrictions are in place for a number of reasons.
Part of the issue is that people will take something innocuous and use it to create something offensive.
It's not fair on those of us who want to use a certain name in a positive manner but in order to protect others we need to have to put certain restrictions in place.
I will pass your feedback on to the team.

Why not just action individual offenders instead of attacking the people you claim to be protecting? I can use my desired username on every single other major platform without issue, blanket censorship of LGBT identities is not seen as a necessity anywhere else.

Keeping our games a safe space Giiiiiiinger is important and it means that at times we need to make hard decisions and usernames are one area where we do this.
