Why I DO NOT Recommend EA Sports FC Mobile: A Frustrating and Unfair Experience for Players
As a player who has invested both time and real money into EA Sports FC Mobile, I have come to the conclusion that this game disappoints its community and relies on unfair practices. Although it is promoted as a competitive football simulator, the reality inside the game is completely different.
Here are the main reasons why I do not recommend this game and why I believe players are being misled:
1. The Reward System Is Biased and Punishes Paying Players
Investing money in FC Mobile provides no real advantage or guarantee. Absurdly, the odds of pulling high-OVR players from paid packs are extremely low, resulting in almost nothing but "filler/garbage" cards. Meanwhile, players who do not spend any money frequently receive top-tier cards, creating immense frustration for those who support the game financially. The rewards from tasks and missions are designed solely to push you to spend more money, without offering anything valuable in return.
2. Total Lack of Action Against Cheaters
Division Rivals matches are filled with users running hacks and scripts. Even though I have encountered and reported these cheaters multiple times, the support team has taken no effective action. Matches remain logged as losses, and lost rank points are never returned, completely destroying the concept of fair competition.
3. Non-Existent Customer Support
When errors occurred with real-money purchases and bought items were not credited to the account, the support team provided nothing more than evasive answers. Promises to "look into it" remain empty words, while your money is taken without the service being delivered.
4. Favoritism, Untested Builds, and Unfair Influence from Testers
It is unacceptable for the game to be tested directly on the player base instead of being properly optimized before release. Furthermore, there is blatant favoritism: individuals who have tester access or connections with the development teams can influence accounts or gain access to exclusive/signed cards without any effort. While a regular user grinds for months or spends significant money to build a team, others are handed everything on a silver platter.
Conclusion:
FC Mobile has become an environment where fair play does not exist, cheaters are tolerated, and players' money and time are not respected. If you are looking for a fair game based on skill and just rewards, I strongly recommend avoiding FC Mobile.

  • I agree. Why should anyone would spend money on this? You get a lot less back than you put in, and if that's real money there are a LOT of other, more rewarding options out there.

The lack of customer support is beyond belief. "Thanks for your feedback, I'll be sure to pass it on" and 'Chill, I'm only a volunteer moderator" are two of the most recent responses. Why waste my time on this if EA aren't even willing to help users beyond words?

  • Unfortunately, there's no option to give a negative rating to the app, so I rated it with one star, even though I'd like to give it a -100. We're not just talking about injustice, but about a system that is inherently toxic and threatens the players' mental health.

  • Yup. Agree 100%. In its current state I wouldn’t recommend this game to my worst enemy. I used to purchase EA titles for console, but I’ll never give these guys another dime. They’ve gone unchallenged by competitors for far too long in this space and it’s caused them to grow complacent and increasingly incompetent.
