It takes two crashing on Xbox Series S

The It takes two crashes on my Series S console right after defeating the mechanical bull in the clockwork chapter. While the cutscene plays (with a bunch of flying dust, but I guess it should be a piece of cake to render that for this console), the game becomes unresponsive, the video freeze, and the sound stops too after some seconds. After these most of the time the game closes itself, but sometimes it causes the whole console to shut down.

The things I tried:

  • Closed the game from the Xbox Guide after the crash
  • Restarted the console
  • Deleted local game saves
  • Reinstalled the game

but the problem still persists. Besides that it is really annoying, it prevents us to continue the game, because it happens every time at the same point.

Additional info: we played local coop when these crashes happened, but we will try to proceed in online coop ASAP, and hope that it will work that way.

Any idea how to solve this?

Thanks for the tips and answers in advance!

  • Hello, I tried with both Power Options to enable different times. Same result.

Will try adding another account and also streaming to my phone via Xbox Remote Play. Sorry for the delay, it's somewhat difficult to find time with my wife to play the game, especially now that's a frustrating experience.

Will let you know as soon as I have more info!

  • We had this same issue in the same spot in the game on Xbox One, and this solved it. THANK YOU! So how my husband and I can finish the game now!
