Missing side quests.

Hope it's okay that I add my issue onto this same thread, or let me know if you'd prefer I create a separate topic. I'm basically having the same issue except with a main story quest.

Platform:

Are you getting an error message?

- No

Which Quest are you unable to access or are unable to progress in?

- Hunt the Ragetail. The girl NPC is missing after she appeared to talk to me in a multiplayer session, but I didn't talk to her. The other person in the multiplayer session created a forge at my camp. When I relogged the girl was missing, I can't craft a forge, and I'm unable to use the forge created from the other person.

No error messages, the side quests are just not there to be taken.

My best friend I play the game with have them and I don't.

But it doesn't concern all the side quests, only some.

I don't remember the concerned side quests plus I would only know their names in french.

But I think it's the exact same ones as @Koneko_Misa 

The context is exactly the same : I'm playing with my best friend who is the host. Very soon in the game we noticed that while in his session, I couldn't see the side quests so we took the habit of stopping online mode when returning back to Minato so I could pick them up. But then suddenly, he started having side quests I couldn't see. And that I never saw and still never see.

No issues except this one.

And to answer your other question @EA_Illium sadly yesterday's patch 1.0.4 didn't solve that issue.

Additional Info:

We've been playing together going through story and I believe my friend was in my game when he left the session after the story step and was unable to locate True Culprit - Part 2. I then was playing through his session and after we defeated Amaterasu, he said there were "a ton of quests" but when I went to my game to pick them up, I only found 4 out of the 8 he has. We've been checking for quests after every story step, so we have been on the same point, but we are definitely missing access to the same quests. 

The only thing different between us is that I have done a larger number of hunts on the side with him not in my game, but we do feel it being connected to the fact that we completed the story quest via online play and not solo. We seemed to have no problem from the earlier half of the game, but the later half of the game is when we found the first quest that did not show for one of us (starting with True Culprit - Part 2). The patch also did not fix it. Hope this helps!

Same issue. Adding to the fire with the hope of it getting resolved.

Bug happens when playing online and you are not the host of the session. I've tried doing everything I can think to retrigger the prompt for the quest to no avail. The quests do not appear in my own session even if I talk to the NPCs that usually give it.

Date this issue started (is it still happening?) Since release. Still happening even after the last 2/21/23 patch. Even validated files to see if it may reset anything.

Is anything else happening? No. The quest simply do not appear and end without a prompt to continue the next parts.
