Split Fiction Crashing on Xbox Series X

reverbc There have been random reports, but as of now, nothing is active as far as an issue. Is it just local or does it happen when you are online as well?

I’ve only tried the local mode because I only have one device (Xbox Series X) that can play the game :(

My partner & I bought a series X this weekend just for this game, haven’t even been able to make it past the opening scene. I finally saw a cab pulling up before the game crashed. This was after hard resetting the system & reinstall. Tried on multiple accounts as well. All other games work just fine so I don’t think it’s our Xbox or internet. 

EA_ShepardDo you have any advice? I gave it another shot by uninstalling then reinstalling the game using the discs (v1.0.1.0), and it crashed 3 times within 20 minutes of gameplay. I’m running out of things to try. Among all the games I have on the Xbox (including A Way Out and It Takes Two) none of them is showing the symptom so I can only assume it’s a Split Fiction only problem.

I just bought it. suddenly turns off my Xbox while I’m playing on split screen. A green line shows up and turns off the Xbox. 🫤

Just finished installing the game on my relatively brand new Xbox X — also running game version 1.3.0.0 — also have the latest operating system on my Xbox X 

trying to play two-player local — opening scene loads but the cab is from the matrix — then entire screen glitches during first two characters discussion — console hasn’t crashed yet (knock on wood).  All other games on my console work flawlessly.

I’m not aware of any.

FWIW I also tried cleaning up the local saved files and resetting the entire Xbox - both approaches maybe bought me another 5 minutes gameplay time but still crashed. Also tried getting a new physical copy of the game and that doesn’t help. 

This is continuing to happen, I see it’s also happening on PS5 as well. 
From the limited gameplay we have managed it’s a good game, but it is unplayable in its current state.

There needs to be a solution to this so far the game has crashed 25 times and 8 of those it has caused the series x console to shut down so clearly there is an issue.

Oripower PS5 is being looked into. For PS we need the error codes to check and see what is happening on the players end.

For Xbox, though, that is different. We need the Error you get - if you get one when it crashes. There aren't as many Xbox crashing issues as there are PS issues that I can seee.
