Split Fiction freezes on PC fighting the tank in the Cyber Ninja

AzuraHorizons The freezes have been mentioned to the team a few times. They are aware. This one is rough because not everyone is experiencing it so it is hard to find a common cause amongst those who are.

This could be anything from specific, CPUs, GPUs, drivers, etc. If AMD and Nvidia players both get it, it could be more of a game-related issue, but then everyone would have it, not just a handful of players. This is why we have to kind of go one at a time and see what each player's system setup is like to make sure they can run the game, it is installed as it should (SSD vs HDD), and go from there.

I can confirm the freezes are throughout the entire game -- we've been playing on DX11 for a while, but poor performance led us to switch back to DX12. We just got another freeze, this time on the ghost cat side story. 

Hi, we were playing locally via the full game on Steam- we ended up following one of the threads here in setting our game to DX11 mode, which seems to have fixed it and allowed us to progress. I know it's not supported (the game ran a little worse after), but I hope the information helps regardless.

I do want to say that the freezes seem to be completely inconsistent, but given that they happened in the opening cutscene i doubt it's specific to Reon Revenge.

I looked for any open issues on this one and not seeing any.

Do both of y ou have the base game, or are you playing with one of you as the friends pass?
