Split Fiction (Friend Pass) keeps crashing upon launch

Hi, I own the game, and my partner is using the Friend Pass. Unfortunately, every time he launches the game, it crashes to the desktop immediately, before even reaching the main menu. We've tried all...

To add on, there's no error code after the crash.
