Yep...it shows as not needing to be installed if you open the storage location for where the game is installed. I brought that up to both EA and MS, as well as having open cases with both. It's also a server/network connection issue within EA themselves as the error codes I've had at different points are: 4, 20009, and 2147745792, which are all internal server/network connection issues within EA as they are not error codes from MS. It is sad that the entire gaming community, across the world, has had to address this issue and figure out where the issue is for those two companies networks to communicate.
Hopefully they figure their crap out and fix things. I know that they are releasing some free DLC updates coming out in March and April, and they have a patch coming out shortly, but I don't know if they will fix this issue, some of the graphics issues, and the audio coming out too fast or duplicated by the NPC character saying two different lines at the same time...if not for subtitles, I wouldn't understand what they are saying in English...lol...
At one point, only the standard edition installed but not the Karakuri upgrade file, so I uninstalled it, rebooted the Xbox series x, and then redownloaded the Karakuri edition as a whole so that both files are in the same location. The Karakuri file then showed up, but as not needing to be installed, because it was not highlighted when I selected to install everything. It's a strange thing to see, that's for sure.
For such an expensive game, these issues are mind boggling.
