Your Account has been restricted from accessing any online features.

This message pops up when I launch the game before getting to the main menu, not allowing me to play with my friends. This is during the 10 hour trial. The rest of the game works fine, minus some performance issues. I have no bans on my account, past or present. I can play BF2042 through the EA app with no issues, so I'm curious if anyone else is having this issue? Will attach image of error message as well.

To repeat, not banned, just unable to play online?

    @EA_Illium Hey so I ended up buying it, but to correct the issue during the trial I just uninstalled it and the EA app and reinstalled them, seemed to fix it. Thanks for the help?

    @FrankTheTaank19 Hey, so from experience, that error only refers to a handful of reasons.

    Your EA account is banned
    Your EA account is underage
    If you are on the console or another app, that account is banned or underage

    The best thing to do is to message like chat or over social channels and have them take a look at your EA account first and then go from there.

    I'll try to reach out on twitter I suppose. My ban history is clear on their site, I'm 38 lol and it's on PC through the EA App.

    @FrankTheTaank19 Are you playing Wild Hearts through EA App or another client? Also to confirm are you playing on an underage EA account?

    @FrankTheTaank19 Oh yeah for sure. Basically, when you see "restricted" there is a block of some kind. Some say denied access, restricted or something of the sort.

    @EA_Illium EA App through game pass. Not on an underage account, going into my xbox account to reconfirm my DOB as an old reddit thread suggested.
